  • All industry cited on the future land use map is currently in existence. No recommendations are being made at this time for expansion of this district, but rather criteria should be set in examining future permit requests for industrial growth to comply with the Future Land Use Plan and established restrictive covenants. Any development should be in areas that will not infringe on residences and which will benefit from existing infrastructure, such as Interstate 85, rail lines, water, sewer, and other utilities.
