§ 5-3. Responsibility for enforcement.

(a)

The building and zoning official is hereby charged with enforcing the provisions of the building codes adopted by reference in the ordinances of October 14, 1987, and January 26, 1988, as well as the codes and appendices adopted in sections 5-1 and 5-2 of this Code.

(b)

The building and zoning official shall continue to enforce the minimum standard codes enumerated in O.C.G.A. § 8-2-20(9)(B)(i)(I) through (9)(B)(i)(VII) upon implementation on October 1, 1991, as provided in O.C.G.A. § 8-2-25.
